When I was a child, my daily dinner tabular array was quite simple since my mom did not excel at cooking.

During the traditional festival days, my mom would try the best she could to make overnice dishes for us. Although she wasn't a very proficient cook, I did like some of the dishes she made. They were not the traditional Chinese cuisine. She used unlike ingredients and flavors. Thank you to my favorite appliance, my kids get a wide variety of dishes and I hope they'll recall all the Castilian, Australian and British dishes I make to remind them where they're from.
