I was always hungry, so even though the dinner was light and very controlled, I still reminisce about the nights nosotros had fresh bread, a piece of cheese, a piece of fruit and the fun time sitting around the table with my family unit. When I was a child, my daily dinner tabular array was quite simple since my mom did not excel at cooking.
What do you lot remember about your mom and her cooking?
During the traditional festival days, my mom would try the best she could to make overnice dishes for us. Although she wasn't a very proficient cook, I did like some of the dishes she made. They were not the traditional Chinese cuisine. She used unlike ingredients and flavors. My favorites were chicken with Worcestershire sauce, celery and fresh squid, deep-fried pork chop, and homemade potato salad with Chinese sausage.

I loved her tortilla/Castilian omelette, rice pudding, and gazpacho, but didn't accept the skills to recreate her dishes until I got my Thermomix®. Now I use her recipes, simply have adapted them to Thermomix® and then that I can be sure to get information technology right every time!

Thank you to my favorite appliance, my kids get a wide variety of dishes and I hope they'll recall all the Castilian, Australian and British dishes I make to remind them where they're from.
